Even though everytime... "Goodbye!"

You said you loved me. It was just another lie. You promised never to leave. Today you gleefully said, "Goodbye." I always believed you. I trusted you despite losing my pride. I gave all of the "me" that I wanted to keep inside. Today you left me with nothing but the remnants of a lie. You took all I had and laughed without care. You raped me of my purpose by swearing you'd be there. I ignorantly trusted you. I believed despite my fears. Even though everytime... You left me alone with abandoned tears. Betrayed, I think back I hear all your lies. Painfully I realize that every time you fed on me: You always knew you would gleefully say, "Goodbye."
